North East-based procurement agency Prosper has launched a new design services framework [Deadline: 2 October 2023]

The not-for-profit strategic business consultancy is seeking teams for seven lots covering planning, architecture, engineering, surveying, employer’s agent, clerk of works and principal designer services.

Each lot is divided into regional sub-lots covering North, Central, South East, South West, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. The framework will be available to registered social landlords; NHS bodies; local authorities; educational establishments; police, fire and rescue; and registered charities.

According to the brief: ‘The authority seeks to establish a multi-supplier, multi-lot framework for the provision of design and consultancy services by its members and other public sector contracting bodies across the UK.

‘As this is a framework agreement, the authority makes no guarantee that any call-off contracts will be placed under the framework agreement by any of the contracting bodies. Requirements quantities will be specified in the call-off contract between each contracting body and the supplier.’

Founded 15 years ago by several housing providers in the north east – Prosper now provides procurement services to a range of housing providers and public sector organisations across the country. Last year the organisation launched a new decarbonisation and retrofit framework.

Bids for inclusion on the framework will be evaluated 70 per cent on quality and 30 per cent on cost.
